Note: If you would like to use ACM Alerts to send reminders or notifications for events other than those listed above, please notify the Cliniconex team via email to newimplementations@cliniconex.com.
Note: For all other EMRs, refer to your EMR user guide.
- Navigate to the Clinical Tab > Other > Setup.
- Under General Configuration, select Event Calendar Configuration.
- In the Event Types section, click New.
- Enter the exact name of the event.
- Provide a clear description of the event.
- Click Save to add the new event to your calendar.
Tip: Ensure the event name and description are accurate, as they’ll be used for notifications and communication.

Follow the steps listed below for steps on how to create an Appointment Type:
- Select the Accuro Start Menu (or press ALT).
- Select Scheduler.
- Click on Scheduler Management.
- In the Scheduler Management window, select the Types tab to display a list of Accuro Appointment Types.
- Add a new Appointment Type by selecting the Add button.
- A new row will appear at the bottom of the list. Enter a name and colour for the new Appointment Type.
- If you operate multiple offices in Accuro, share Appointment Types with them using the checkbox in the Shared column.
- Share to Medeo enables the checkbox within Appointment Details to be selected. Patients can then see the appointment in their Medeo portal.
- Select Apply to save your changes, then select Close.
